Christmas part 1: PCIS

In typical fashion, I managed to post my Christmas blog a solid two weeks late. In any case, just before us foreign teachers went on our mini-Christmas break, we had a final afternoon activity. We decided to make Santa Claus faces. They managed to make some entertaining creations.

The kids had fun with this, and with most crafts, hilarity ensued.

One of my students, Vicki, apparently cut out a rather funny shape when she was making the face for her Santa mask. It looked like the shape of a bra. When I heard another student, Angela, commenting on it, I decided to ask her to elaborate.

Oh, kids.

Just before Christmas, we had also finished our unit on mythical beasts. The final assignment was to create your own mythical creature, label it, and then write a small passage describing the things that it can do and what makes it special using comparatives and superlatives. One of my high-level students, Messi, decided to take the name-creating process to a whole new level. Observe.
