The other night I went to a place referred to as the “Snake” restaurant. I think the teachers at school call it that because they have (or at least had) some snake items from before. I didn’t see any when I went, but they may have still been there without my knowing. Anyway, just some shots of the grub and the interesting setting. There were some other dishes, such as some beef and vegetable dishes and some kind of egg dish, but I wasn’t able to get a photo of them.
- This place was located in an obscure area (of course).
- In the background, under the building area is where the geese were. I’m pretty sure they are there as food.
- These family sharing style tables are actually quite nice.
- I thought this environment was rather nice.
- Beef inside of a light crispy coating. One of the English teachers referred to it as a pseudo “Beef Wellington.”
- This was eggplant with pork inside. It was difficult to tell what it was even in person.
- What real Chinese fried rice looks like. Much lighter than what we serve back home, not drenched in soy sauce.
- Lovely whole roasted chicken with crispy skin.
- And all that remained
