With that said, this is one of those amusing moments that you just can’t pass up (even if it’s perhaps inappropriate to take joy in such a mistake). I came across this spelling error while correcting one of my students’ dictation notebooks. We have been going over adjectives lately, and I believe he was trying to spell the word “cute.” Except, that’s not exactly the word he produced. Rather, he somehow managed to write an entirely different word that is anything but “cute.” What was even more amusing was the word that happened to come after it. See for yourselves…
